International copywriter, ghost writer and content strategist Cherry Martin made her mark firmly in the world of newspapers, editing the local newspaper for Canary Wharf, launching a lifestyle magazine to run alongside it before moving into the world of glossy magazines and other printed publications.
From investigative journalism to travel and lifestyle pieces in the glossies, over the past fifteen years she has travelled the world, interview people she’d only dreamt of meeting and all led by her laptop and an innate curiosity to find out the stories and drive behind the actions of ordinary people achieving extraordinary things.
After a three year stint in PR writing alongside prestigious brand managers, she transitioned her branding experience and focussed on the world of commercial copywriting and ghost writing, wielding her pen across all aspects of business life.
Today, Cherry researches, writes and implements strategies for established global brands looking to inspire their current following while attracting new ones, and fledgling companies looking to find their voice and make their mark against their competition. Delving deeply into every avenue and consumer touchpoint of a brand to the psychologies of its end-users, Cherry delivers a full range of copywriting services designed to effect behavioural change across target markets.
‘Working as a freelancer for ten years as well as supporting start-ups with direction and tone, I fully appreciate the gargantuan amounts of work, commitment and drive needed to succeed in any industry.’
Keen to see a strong tone of voice and consistency across their marketing materials and approach, Cherry is extremely proud to be profiling the best of British brands and heralding the work of the talented business men and women of the nation.
