i spy marketing Chris Whitelaw was never much of a wallflower, and, after expressing a desire to be “on the frontline of the digital revolution” ditched the world of finance for digital marketing, an industry he brands “as disruptive to our way of life as the industrial revolution” and launched I Spy Marketing.
Once Australia’s youngest stockbroker, and having worked for some of the biggest companies in the world, Whitelaw wanted work in an industry which Chris Whitelawplayed to his commercial and performance driven background.
In just over five years with I Spy, Chris has amassed a team nearing 50 experts in the digital arena whose combined talents he describes as the best and the brightest in the industry.
I Spy is a values driven organisation and has consistently been described as remaining ahead of the change curve whilst making digital understandable and return on investment focussed. It maintains rapid growth, continues to innovate and create opportunities. In fact, I Spy was the first agency to partner with Google on conversion optimisation in the UK with further notable achievements that include the launch of social media and mobile teams, and has built the leading Facebook advertising technology ‘Upcast’ in the United Kingdom.
Chris currently divides his time between trekking Everest and Kilimanjaro, spending time with his young family and serving in one of the most influential posts in the industry as Chairman of Search Group at the IPA.
