All National Business Awards entries are initially scrutinised by an experienced short listing panel who score each entry. Those with the highest scores are announced as the 2010 finalists. Each organisation reaching finalist status is then notified and invited to present their case in person to a further panel of judges in September at Coutts & Co, 30 St Mary Axe, London.
Each panel consist of four to five judges and will typically include a financial expert, an academic and a practitioner in the subject matter, an entrepreneur and a specialist from the sponsoring organisation). We ensure sponsors are always outnumbered by independent judges to ensure the integrity of the programme is upheld.
Each panel will also be moderated by an independent chairperson.
In 2010 The National Business Awards will employ the services of over 100 judges and between them they will undertake approximately three weeks of judging.
