Martin is one of Grant Thornton's leading Internal Audit Risk and Governance practitioners.  He has assisted numerous high profile blue chip clients in the development and implementation of their own risk management and internal audit strategies.

Since 2002, Martin has been involved in developing Business Risk Services, becoming a  partner in 2005, and now leads the practice. He is responsible for delivery of advisory, assurance and risk management services to a number of public companies with turnover between £100 million and £5 billion. Martin's clients have included; Morgan Stanley, Centrica plc, Pearson plc, VT Group plc, Chloride plc, Delphi Automotive Inc, Serco plc, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc, WD-40 Company Ltd, Quintain Estate plc and Warner Estates plc
