National Business Awards 2012

Proffessor Dominic Swords, Business Economist and co-chair of the National Business Awards

Professor Dominic Swords
Dominic Swords is a Business Economist and Visiting Fellow at Henley Business School.  He has a background in the City working in Economic Intelligence at the Bank of England during the 80s.  He has worked in Business Schools for some 20 years having held full time and visiting posts at Henley Business School and London Business School, amongst others.  Dominic is a regular speaker at corporate conferences on the business impact of economic change and is a frequent contributor to a number of TV and Radio programmes including the Radio 4 Today programme, Working Lunch and the Money Programme.

Dominic Swords says the awards showcase potential industry leaders. “The NBAs give us an early sign of where growth and innovation is coming from. I expect some surprises in where people are seeing growth, but clearly export, green and clean tech, manufacturing and technology will feature – areas where we are quite strong in the UK.”
