Signal - the lloyds bank new business of the year

The judges said

"This was an enormously exciting company, with superior technical knowledge and innovation in a sector that has the potential to transform the business landscape in generations ahead. This choice was not without risk; technology companies have been known to run out of money before they hit their stride, and too many British technology companies are sold before they reach their full potential. We hope this will not be one of them! We felt that the potential for this company, and the positive impact of a successful British champion in this global field, made it the stand-out choice."
